I scoured many rooftops night after night to find the perfect vantage point to shoot a unique angle of this magnificent skyline. Eventually, I was granted special access to a penthouse view that was over the top. Capturing the mood of the city while being cradled by the incredible architecture of the bridge was critical. As twilight approached I started shooting like a madman. The vibe was electric. Seeing the city reflect its charm in the East River added a painterly feel to the shot. Muted colors in the sky provided a subtle backdrop for this stunning view. All my effort paid off this evening: This stunning city displayed all its glory to me in the magical eight seconds of the photograph’s exposure. Photography, just love it!
